This is my latest attempt to find the perfect purse. This bag measures about 11 inches tall which eliminates the usual wasted space that I have in the larger backpacks. Nice that it has the one shoulder strap that hooks either right or left. The adjustable strap is plenty long. Actually, for me it was too long and after determining the most I would ever need, I cut off the excess. The first drawback is that there is only one side pocket on the outside. And being right handed, I carry my bag on my left shoulder which means that handy netted pocket is on the back side. And while the zippers are sturdy enough, would have been an improvement to have them zip up from either side and meet in the middle or anywhere instead of just from one side to the other. I purchased a 5 x 7 Cocoon organizer and it holds chapstick & other small assorted items and fits right down the back inside section ensuring that I won’t have everything piled on the bottom of my bag. All in all, a good bag at a good price.
